This Mother and Son Podcast is Super Unique . The mom seems to clearly be learning from the son ( ok certain episodes ) or at least open to his laser focused direct responses. The vibe of the show which is none other then their connection is very refreshing. It's an easy to watch , no rehearsal, no script podcast . After their first few episodes they started drawing the topics from a hat, meaning the viewers ( who actively participate)and the hosts wait to see what the shows topic will be about. They are both New Yorkers , the Mother " Ms Bobbi Owens " her favorite tag line aka
" Your Favorite X" grew up between Houston, Texas and Hollis Queens . The Son "Doug Cashing" Grew up in Nassau County NY

I am a cannabis chef, connoisseur and advocate who believes in the medicinal, recreational and financial power of the cannabis plant.
I started the Green Baker, LLC in mid 2018 as a way to be able to use my 20 years of culinary skills to create delicious medicated goodies that could be enjoyed by all, that included my son, Danny, who was born with cerebral palsy.
After many years of working hard for others' benefit, I wanted to finally use my talents to support the greater good. Cannabis has been a blessing for my son and I wanted to be able to give that gift to others.
My podcast covers a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures and professions, but we all want to help educate, advocate and destigmatize the responsible use of cannabis through story telling. Sharing our personal and professional journeys is a way to bring through human connection back to this plant.

The pandemic triggered conversations with close family members about their end-of-life plans and preferences. It is probably the first time they had talked to family members about topics like finances, health, and legal plans. More than 70 percent of Americans 50 and over believe a will is the most important document to have in place before someone dies, but only 49 percent of this group actually has one. My message is to show people how to leave a legacy, not a legacy and a mess.

GPS to Employment Success: How to Find and Succeed in the Right Job
I'm Beverly Williams, author, labor and employment law attorney, arbitrator, and lecturer. Parthenon Enterprises, Inc. is a content development company I began several years ago. “Your Employment Matters” is the brand of employment-related programming and written materials developed by Parthenon.
GPS to Employment Success: How to Find and Succeed in the Right Job is my latest employment advice book for anyone who seeks employment or a promotion. It continues the discussion about what can be done to maximize individual success in the employment arena.
Please visit my website: www.youremploymentmatters.com.
Mission: Parthenon’s mission is to develop entertaining, informative, and instructive employment–related programming and written content and make it available on multiple media platforms. Our goal is to empower readers, listeners and viewers of all ages, ethnicities, religions and genders to be more successful in employment matters.
Issues: People who have always worked are unemployed or underemployed and struggling or unable to care for their families. Those who have jobs don’t (or shouldn’t) feel that their employment future is secure. They aren't satisfied with or don’t know how long they’ll have the jobs they have or they don’t feel that they can move up where they’re currently employed.
Young people and even sometime those more experienced, in our cities and elsewhere, will need to compete for jobs and other opportunities such as internships, scholarships and apprenticeships. Given the seismic changes in the employment landscape, preparation is essential to achieve favorable results.
Recommendation: I advocate using Dorothy Vaughan, a NASA mathematician and computer programmer, and the person played by Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer in the widely acclaimed film, Hidden Figures, as a role model. Ms. Vaughn developed and successfully executed employment and career strategies. Quite simply, she was proactive. Among other things, she paid attention to industry developments and acquired additional skills.
I welcome the opportunity to explore how I can contribute to individual and organizational efforts to prepare individuals, members and families for the ever-challenging employment reality.

Welcome. At EnergeticHarmony.NET and ExcellentPresence.com, I help impact founders free themselves from imposter syndrome, past trauma, and ideal client confusion to fuel bolder, faster growth.
What I discovered, after 20+ years of being a full-time small business founder and B2B consultant, is this:
The majority of us are ""stuck"" NOT due to the time or money challenges we think, but due to unresolved past trauma shaping our adult behavior.
For example, extensive studies show that up to 83.2% of us had childhood experiences that changed our brain, body, and behavior.
Having realized that—and processed my own history to activate boldness, passion, and unwavering ambition—I now help leaders transcend the heart of their perceived limitations to get un-stuck—even if they've ""plateaued"" for years.
Across my career, I've worked with clients like Google, LipoScience, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Durham and Wake Counties, and Space Foundation.
Today, I'm a Radical Wellness & Growth Consultant, Coach, and Trainer for micro- and small business Change Agents. I hold certifications and training in Psychological & Emotional Resilience, Life Purpose Extraction Coaching, Holistic Health & Wellness Coaching, Master-Level Reiki Therapy, Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, PTSD and Trauma Recovery.

Get to Know Janéy Tate
Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Hy-Lo News
Janéy Tate is a highly motivated, self-driven media entrepreneur. Her career in news began 10 years ago as an intern for the Miami Herald and CBS 4 News Miami. She fell in love with journalism and the media industry while interning at these places and decided that this is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
Her upbringing in Miami Gardens helped shape the journalist and woman she is today. Her mother, grandmother, and aunts raised her to be a giving considerate person and to live a life of integrity. They also instilled in her the values to respect all people and to go after her dreams relentlessly. Janéy knows those life lessons and values from her family contributed to her being a strong reporter and businesswoman.
Janéy is the second oldest of four children, who were raised by a strong and loving single mother. She grew up in the neighborhood of Carol City and attended high school for three years at Miami Carol City Senior High where she was a top track and field athlete and honor student. Track and Field allowed her to cultivate her zeal to be competitive and present her best work. In 2006, Janéy graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High with honors and went on to study Mass Communications and Journalism at Florida International University. She graduated in 2012 from FIU and shortly after landed her first job as a general assignment reporter for the Bradenton Herald covering two municipalities.
While in college, Janey competed in the Miss America Organization pageant system for a chance to win scholarship money. She went on to win the title of Miss Miami Gardens 2011 and was a top 15 finalist for the 2011 Miss Florida Pageant. Her pageant experience would open the door to the journalism field as one of the hosts for a competition was an anchor at the local CBS Miami and recommended Janey for an internship at the station.
Janey’s many experiences have allowed her to have a deep knowledge of South Florida’s political, business, and social scenes and how they affect the Black community. She has written for all of South Florida’s major publications including the Miami Times, Miami Herald, MIA & Legacy Magazines, and the Westside Gazette. Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Janey also worked for two and a half years at iHeartMedia Miami to gain valuable experience in media sales, account management, marketing, branding, radio production, and event activations.
After years of being frustrated with the lack of coverage of the Black community and hearing people’s grievances with local media, Janey decided to create a solution with Hy-Lo News. The news site serves to provide the community with hyper-local news and content geared toward South Florida's Urban Millennials. In 2015, Hy-Lo News began as a Facebook-based blog and within a year grew to become a legitimate news site. Janey is determined to make Hy-Lo News a success and has made major personal financial sacrifices because building a sustainable media business is her priority. During this pandemic, she enrolled in the Digital Undivided START Pre-Acellarator, BizHacks Academy Digital Marketing Course, and Empire University’s business Bootcamp to further her knowledge and understanding of running a successful business. Janey believes one can never stop improving and will continue to educate herself in an ever-evolving media landscape.

Being in love with music her whole life , Brittany joined the entertainment industry in 2014 and became known as Bebe the culture curator .She has the reputation for understanding “The assignment” first by curating an all girls line up and passionately calling it “ No Boys Allowed” that showcase sparked the minds of others to be curious about what can she do next? Being the Curator of the Long Island creative collective “ The EarWaxx Session meant she had to put in consistent work. She delivered every Tuesday night orchestrating moves and being the liaison between indie artists and the behind the scene’s plugs.
The next mission she managed to accomplish was curating line ups for music festivals. She flew to Austin and turn some heads at SXSW and that year went to work Atlanta’s A3C.
Curating became a new love but hosting was something she desired to do. Organizing was evidently natural but her charismatic personality resonated. She manifested her next moves curating shows to boldly hosting them. The more she hosted the more people asked what’s next? With a brand named “ LipstickNLyricsz” she decided while hosting to launch her own Lipstick Line and dedicated every lipstick to a lyric in her favorite songs. It was a move created as an idea for merchandise but it supported her aesthetic since most women asked her what lipstick she was wearing . With the support and strategic marketing a vision grew and others seen and wanted to be apart the lipstick line sold out in a week. With this mission accomplished we are still left asking what’s next ? She maintained her momentum of curating and hosting but never stopped creating outlets for others … She began to dive into music journalism… The pandemic led her to think about how to keep people aware of new indie artists… with time she created Bebe’s Indie Spotlight which highlights up and coming artists , with in-depth Q&A Segments ,playful trivia moments , Freestyle Sessions And her ability to produce a body of work that allows her audience to watch her start as a fan and end as a friend. Her undying need to soundtrack the lives of those around her will continue to make her an asset in the culture.

Morgan A. Poole is an upbeat Digital Reporter serving the West Michigan community at WOTV 4 Women and WOODTV8!
Although it's only been 9 months since she's made the big move to West Michigan from her hometown of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Morgan has already made her mark around town and the office by managing wotv4women.com and its social media platforms successfully, creating engaging original content, and building strong relationships with current and former WOTV Crew members.
Morgan's passion for the media and entertainment industry began at the age of 7. In 2016, this passion inspired her to create a YouTube channel that surpassed 1 million views and 10,000 subscribers in only one year. She continues to use her channel and other social platforms to inspire digital creators to be fearless in expressing themselves!
In 2019, Morgan graduated from Delaware State University, located in Dover, DE. In addition to receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, she also received the President's Academic Award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA for 4 consecutive years.
Although keeping up with her grades, participating in various on-campus organizations, and working three on-campus jobs were far from easy, wearing multiple hats has helped Morgan establish a solid work ethic!
Before working at WOTV 4 Women and WOODTV8, Morgan was a digital media intern for CBS Interactive and Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles, CA. With developed specialties in production, audience acquisition, social media, content management, reporting, writing, and editing, her collaboration with various top-tier media entities have resulted in 10,000,000 media impressions, views, and engagements from audiences around the world collectively. She's grateful for the opportunity to now contribute her skills to West Michigan!
Morgan's greatest piece of advice to anyone looking to find an opportunity is to let go of fear!
"Great things never come from comfort zones, so don't be afraid to put yourself and your dreams out there. Be confident, be persistent, and when it doubt...faith it out! Eventually, you'll end up right where you're supposed to be as long as your willing to go for it!"

Shannan E. Johnson is a quitter. I walked straight off the graduation stage and into my career as an Academic Scholarship Advisor and Recruiter at my alma mater. It didn't take long before I realized I was helping my students pursue their dreams - even starting a non-profit for teen girls - while stifling my own. So, I quit. I packed my life into my Chevrolet Cavalier and headed to Hollywood. Post film school, I became a TV Executive taking stories from pitch to production. Then, I quit... because YOLO. I explored the world touring 19 countries and 49 states in dance companies and Broadway National Tours. I inhaled culture, perspective and experience that honed my craft and catapulted my confidence. So, when I returned to LA to live in my purpose but doors continued to slam in my face, I took the leap and bet on myself. I stopped pursuing my dreams and started chasing my reality. I became the protagonist of my own story. So, I'm proud to say that I'm a quitter turned CEO of the first black-owned script consultant agency in the entertainment industry, The Professional Pen. I took all the things that I enjoyed from each of my life experiences and turned my side hustle into my full-time job. I now develop creatives and their narrative content for the screen. As a Script Consultant, I function as a story therapist using life to teach storytelling elements. As a speaker, I transfer this exclusive technique to students with big dreams to use storytelling elements to teach life because when you add educator and artist it equals expert storyteller.
