I am a cannabis chef, connoisseur and advocate who believes in the medicinal, recreational and financial power of the cannabis plant. I started the Green Baker, LLC in mid 2018 as a way to be able to use my 20 years of culinary skills to create delicious medicated goodies that could be enjoyed by all, that included my son, Danny, who was born with cerebral palsy. A native of Cleveland, Dr Greg Hall is a Cleveland Clinic-trained internal medicine specialist. Dr. Hall was a governor-appointed member of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health and served as Chairman for many years, and currently serves as the board president of Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Get to Know Janéy Tate Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Hy-Lo News Janéy Tate is a highly motivated, self-driven media entrepreneur. Her career in news began 10 years ago as an intern for the Miami Herald and CBS 4 News Miami. She fell in love with journalism and the media industry while interning at these places and decided that this is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Her upbringing in Miami Gardens helped shape the journalist and woman she is today. Her mother, grandmother, and aunts raised her to be a giving considerate person and to live a life of integrity. They also instilled in her the values to respect all people and to go after her dreams relentlessly. Janéy knows those life lessons and values from her family contributed to her being a strong reporter and businesswoman. Janéy is the second oldest of four children, who were raised by a strong and loving single mother. She grew up in the neighborhood of Carol City and attended high school for three years at Miami Carol City Senior High where she was a top track and field athlete and honor student. Track and Field allowed her to cultivate her zeal to be competitive and present her best work. In 2006, Janéy graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High with honors and went on to study Mass Communications and Journalism at Florida International University. While in college, Janey competed in the Miss America Organization pageant system for a chance to win scholarship money. Her pageant experience would open the door to the journalism field as one of the hosts for a competition was an anchor at the local CBS Miami and recommended Janey for an internship at the station. She has written for all of South Florida’s major publications including the Miami Times, Miami Herald, MIA & Legacy Magazines, and the Westside Gazette. Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Janey also worked for two and a half years at iHeartMedia Miami to gain valuable experience in media sales, account management, marketing, branding, radio production, and event activations. After years of being frustrated with the lack of coverage of the Black community and hearing people’s grievances with local media, Janey decided to create a solution with Hy-Lo News. The news site serves to provide the community with hyper-local news and content geared toward South Florida's Urban Millennials. In 2015, Hy-Lo News began as a Facebook-based blog and within a year grew to become a legitimate news site. Janey is determined to make Hy-Lo News a success and has made major personal financial sacrifices because building a sustainable media business is her priority. During this pandemic, she enrolled in the Digital Undivided START Pre-Acellarator, BizHacks Academy Digital Marketing Course, and Empire University’s business Bootcamp to further her knowledge and understanding of running a successful business. Erik Robert Fleming (born February 2, 1965 in Chicago, IL) is an American politician who was a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives representing the 72nd District from 1999 to 2008. He was the Democratic nominee for one of the state's two U.S. Senate seats in the November 4, 2008 general election, and was defeated. Erik is now a Deputy Sheriff with the Fulton County (GA) Sheriff’s Office. Previously, Erik was the Director of Policy with the American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi. Erik continues to advocate for the causes of African Americans through his podcast, A Moment with Erik Fleming.

On my 50th born day (2017) I took my 1st (of many) solo road trips to an adorable waterfront Airbnb on The Chesapeake Bay. While I was there re-connecting with God, The Universe, nature and most importantly myself, I remembered how much I enjoyed writing, talking, sharing information, giving encouragement and positive energy to folks and BOOM my purpose and passion became crystal clear. "Kandidly Kristin: The Blog" was born and that blog has since morphed into The Kandid Shop Podcast. Being the Curator of the Long Island creative collective “ The EarWaxx Session meant she had to put in consistent work. She delivered every Tuesday night orchestrating moves and being the liaison between indie artists and the behind the scene’s plugs. The next mission she managed to accomplish was curating line ups for music festivals. She flew to Austin and turn some heads at SXSW and that year went to work Atlanta’s A3C. Curating became a new love but hosting was something she desired to do. Organizing was evidently natural but her charismatic personality resonated. She manifested her next moves curating shows to boldly hosting them. The more she hosted the more people asked what’s next? With a brand named “ LipstickNLyricsz” she decided while hosting to launch her own Lipstick Line and dedicated every lipstick to a lyric in her favorite songs. It was a move created as an idea for merchandise but it supported her aesthetic since most women asked her what lipstick she was wearing . With the support and strategic marketing a vision grew and others seen and wanted to be apart the lipstick line sold out in a week. With this mission accomplished we are still left asking what’s next ? She maintained her momentum of curating and hosting but never stopped creating outlets for others … She began to dive into music journalism… The pandemic led her to think about how to keep people aware of new indie artists… with time she created Bebe’s Indie Spotlight which highlights up and coming artists , with in-depth Q&A Segments ,playful trivia moments , Freestyle Sessions And her ability to produce a body of work that allows her audience to watch her start as a fan and end as a friend. Her undying need to soundtrack the lives of those around her will continue to make her an asset in the culture.

Dr. Shawn Council, Esquire is the lead managing attorney for her business-oriented law firm located in Metro Atlanta Georgia. Attorney Council, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, didn’t know what a lawyer was when her mother, and a few ladies at a local hairdresser’s beauty parlor, exclaimed, “she should be a lawyer” after she “interrogated” each woman as they were getting their hairdo perfected by the beautician.
